The Dairy Waddesdon Wedding Photography
The Dairy on the Waddesdon Manor Estate is one of my favourite places to photograph weddings! I’ve been a recommended wedding photographer here for over fifteen years. As a result, I’ve photographed over 200 weddings and events at the venue.
History of The Dairy Waddesdon
Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild built the Waddesdon estate at the end of the 19th century. As part of the estate, he built the Dairy to accommodate his prize-winning herd of cattle. Also, he commissioned James Pulham to create its water gardens. It then became a working Dairy for many years.
Then, in 1989 Lord Rothschild initiated an extensive restoration programme. As well as Waddesdon Manor, it included the Dairy and its Victorian water gardens.
Photographing weddings at The Dairy Waddesdon
This venue is stunning, with lakeside gardens, colourful flower borders and wonderful architecture. Although, my favourite backdrops are the Secret Garden, the waterside pavilions and the central courtyard.
In contrast, there’s even Waddesdon Manor itself if you’re happy to go for a short drive after the wedding breakfast.
If you visit The Dairy for a show round you’ll probably see my wedding display album. Within it, you’ll see over 250 of my favourite pictures from the venue across all seasons.
In conclusion, if you’d like to discuss your wedding photography requirements I’d love to hear from you. Alternatively, you can learn more about hosting your wedding at The Dairy, Waddesdon.
