Rackleys Barn Wedding Photography

Photographing weddings at Rackleys Barn

Rackleys Barn nestles in the idyllic Chiltern Hills, with a cluster of gorgeous former farm properties surrounded by serene rolling hills in this designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The historic barn is licensed for civil weddings and can host up to 120 guests for your ceremony. The main barn’s upper gallery high up in the vaulted oak beams provides an ideal chill out zone and a dramatic perspective of the barn. So whether your guests choose to party or relax, there’s a perfect space for everyone.

They are located 25 miles from Heathrow, whilst the local towns of High Wycombe, Marlow & Henley-on-Thames can be found nearby.

Rackleys Barn is the most romantic setting for anyone looking for a secluded countryside wedding venue. The immaculately restored farm buildings date back over three hundred years with seven acres of stunning landscaped grounds. This is without doubt the finest historic barn restoration I’ve ever seen!

Even the Car Park was Beautiful!

The divine summer flower meadows provide stunning vistas over the valley and beyond which will take your breath away! The owners are clearly very passionate gardeners; it’s very rare that I see a venue with such glorious gardens.

And what’s totally insane is their extensive planting scheme for the car park, it’s absolutely stunning!  I would describe it as prairie style planting. In the summer expect huge swathes of tall grasses blowing in the wind which are interspersed with the most delicate and dramatic blooms.

But in all honesty everywhere both inside and out was fabulous, and the photo-opportunities were endless in every direction.

I’ve only photographed one wedding at Rackleys Barn, but I’d love to return again one day soon. It’s rare that a wedding venue totally blows me away, but this place had it all!

Sadly I can only show you detail, interior and exterior pictures without people in from this fabulous wedding. Probably 50% of my customers ask me to not use any of their wedding pictures with guests in for marketing purposes. But hopefully one day soon I’ll be able to add more pictures from future Rackleys Barn weddings.
