Black & White Wedding Photography
Weddings in Black & White
Black and white wedding photography brings a really timeless quality to your photography album. I adore working with this more traditional style, and the results are often truly breath taking. Some couples have even asked me to capture their entire wedding in black and white! I tend to prefer a high contrast approach, with deep blacks and dramatic results achieved during the processing stage.
Both classic and documentary style photography works really well in black and white. The interior architectural details of the many historic wedding venues in the Chilterns area are captured beautifully in black and white, such as carved plaster ceilings, fretwork and marble busts, and the exterior images of the venues from across the lawn feel like you’ve truly stepped back in time. I over shoot on every wedding, so this gives me the chance to turn many of my near identical colour images into black and white to give you both options.
Most of the black and white wedding photographs you see on this gallery were taken at the many wedding venues I attend in the Buckinghamshire area. Some of the venues above that you may well recognise are Cliveden, Taplow House, Hartwell House and The Dairy at Waddesdon.
If you love the atmospheric look of black and white wedding photography and would like to discuss your wedding photography requirements with me, I would love to hear from you.
