Buckinghamshire Fine Dining Food Photography
I’ve been commissioned on a number of food photography shoots of late in the Buckinghamshire area, and the latest was at Taplow House Hotel.
The new head chef Costas and his team are creating some truly amazing fine dining dishes for the hotel’s restaurant. I can’t tell you how difficult it was to only photograph these beautiful dishes rather than taste them.
Fabulous Colours Food Photography
I photographed over 15 gloriously prepared plates of food, plus lots of pictures of the chefs for the hotel’s marketing purposes. The theatrical desserts were created by Dawid the hotel’s pastry chef, and for those of us with a sweet tooth, they really were absolute heaven on a plate!
Taplow House has recommended me for weddings for almost 20 years now. I just love stepping through the entrance doors of this magical venue, it certainly ticks all the boxes for a quintessential country house hotel.
Sampling The Food At Taplow House Hotel
I have to confess, the various food temptations did get the better of me during the photo-shoot! So just two weeks later I booked a table at the restaurant for a small friends gathering. Sampling the food for myself was the ultimate treat!
Between us we managed to experience most of the theatrical masterpieces you see in these pictures, and I can confirm they all taste as amazing as they look! The flavour sensations were divine, we all loved every bite during each course. And I’m confident I’ll be back again very soon to the other dishes we didn’t try.
